Ce cône Conus arenatus me vient d' Egypte via Ebay. Il mesure 77 mm., un monstre!!! Je pensais en l'achetant détenir un record. Hé bien non! Ces gros sont fréquents dans cette partie de l' Océan Indien et Mer Rouge; plus ils vont vers l'est plus ils rapetissent. La littérature donne jusqu'à 90 mm. Enorrrrrrrme!!!!
That Conus arenatus comes from Egypt via Ebay. It sized 77 mm. A monster! I thought buy have a record. Well no! These large are common in this part of the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea, the more they are going to east, the more they shrink. The literature provides up to 90 mm. Enorrrrrrrme!!
